In Fall 2024, the College Centre launched a new Learning Management System (LMS) to support its certificate programs.

This platform enhances the learning experience by providing participants with a personalized and streamlined way to access and manage their program requirements.

  1. What are the benefits of the learning platform?
    • Each participant has access to a personalized dashboard displaying enrolled courses and upcoming sessions.
    • Enrolment is simple, and participants can track their progress in real time.
    • All webinars are accessible directly within the learning platform.
  2. I'm not currently enrolled in a certificate program. How can I enrol and gain access to the platform?
    • Participants must be enrolled through the learning platform to access certificate programs.
    • Enrolment for new participants opens in August. 
    • Each new participant receives a unique enrolment key (URL) specific to their college and program.
      • Leadership Excellence participants: Contact your college’s HR department for your enrolment key.
      • Board Excellence participants: Contact your college’s Board office for your enrolment key.
  3. How do I track my progress?
    • Your dashboard includes a transcript that displays your course progress and completion.
    • Once all requirements are met, certificates are available for immediate download via the Transcript page.
  4. How are credits earned?
    • Credits are awarded through webinar-based (on-demand) courses or virtual, scenario-based groups sessions (Zoom meetings).
      Webinar courses require completion of a brief Knowledge Check to confirm your understanding. Participants may attempt this check as many times as needed.
  5. Is there an orientation for the learning platform?
    • Yes, all new participants receive a comprehensive orientation guide upon enrolment.
